Now as OpenGFX is "finished", what about a opengfx forum skin? :)

Surely this has been suggested before, as with a Locomotion theme. I believe the official stance is "Go ahead, create it".

Pretty much. One can save all the images from the page here, just replace as appropriate. ;)

Here, you can download the images with wget -m http://www.tt-forums.net/styles/ott/ (I believe that's the right command).

No, you can't.

Since nobody actually did this, I've gone and done it, I think I've found all the correct images (that need replacing), I've saved them in correct directories to make it easier to set up a clone of the Original graphics theme using OpenGFX sprites where possible.

I'm not too sure about the openGFX search logo, I just used the replacement sprite provided for the magnifying glass.

Anyway see what you think.

If that's it, I'll try and do a lomo one.

Thanks for that, lawton27. The images seem to look fine enough. I'll see what can be done - it may be the entire TT theme just has to be cloned and have the images replaced, which may be a bit of a faff. I'll see.

With Locomotion, you'll probably want to actually change the actual template. You can install phpBB from www.phpbb.com and play around with the subSilver2 template, if desired.

I think a LoMo one would work with a simple image replacement the same as TTD/OpenGFX would. They have similar appearances, at least.
The only thing missing I think though, is images for the winter theme.

(And possibly an OpenGFX winter theme)

Same for LoMo. One could argue LoMo theme should be redish rather than TT Grey.

I can quickly put together what we need for that, the only things that change (and rely on the base set) are the background and the logo right? I can't remember what the winter logo looks like, could someone attach it so I can copy?

Same goes for 32bpp as well....and the logo has already been made for that...

We're going to be flooded for choice here...

TTD and TTD winter (current scheme)
OpenGFX (+winter)
32bpp (+winter)
LoMo (+winter)

If the winter ones are open to being selected as well, that's at least 8 schemes, not including the bog-standard ones.

Which is rather a lot of administrative effort, particularly every time phpBB is upgraded. It's enough of a pain to maintain three themes, to be honest. I'm not sure I'd really fancy dealing with eight...

In that case I won't bother making an OpenGFX winter theme, the regular one is more that suitable. If you do need a winter version I'll happily make it just drop me a PM or post here.
