Please help with my GRF conf

Hello!

I am playing OPENTTD RC01 with the configuration seen in my png.
The problem is that when I load World Airliner Set, the aircrafts from this set will look alike trees, semaphores and stuff.
So it is some incompatibility with other loaded GRF.
Can you please help me on that.

regards and thanx,
Tibi

At first glance i'd say "you have too many grfs", but this goes beyond a simple grf conflict.

A Savegame using these GRFs might make it easier to debug. post it to bugs.openttd.org

Remove ALL newgrf and add them piece by piece again and check which newgrf plays bad; no one will know which it is without trying it him/herself. As Eddi sais it's more though, than a simple conflict, but this information will be helpful to find out what's going on.

Generally rather use less than more newgrfs.

Hi,
I don't seen WAS on the list. Still, playing with this many GRFs will almost certainly cause problems, either because some sets are incompatible, either because of the GRF order.
Please, post a picture of in-game GRF settings, to be able to identify the problem more accurately.

Quite a few of your grfs are very old versions. The newer, updated versions might eliminated some of the conflicts and also might eliminated the need for you to use so many grfs. Some of these newer versions incorporate the aspects of several older grfs into one newer grf. Choosing a single large train set to use might also ease some of the congestion unless you are willing to play with possible conflicts or do extensive compatibility testing.

Voyager:
WAS it is not in the list because it won't work.
Also, i want to play with as many GRFs possible (mostly because of the cars, not the locos).
I have attached a print screen - instead of that "?" it should be an Airbus 330.

Nite Owl: I was sure that I have the latest versions. Can you please point which of my GRFs are older and where can I find new ones?
's.PNG contains all my GRF installed "in game".

Thank you all for help.

Maybe I did not make myself completely clear. You should attach your savegame or post a picture like this one below. Notice the green squares - they show that the GRFs are working properly. But, you can also get red or other squares. This kind of in-game picture could help identify the problem.

NB: Include WAS in those settings!

EDIT: One possibly stupid question: have you enabled the option for multiple GRF sets?

I apologize for the double post.

Newer versions (as far as I was able to see at first glance):
2cc Train set 1.0.1
Japanese Train set V2.1a

Let us see what we can see (aside from the ones Voyager1 mentioned).

1) Industrial Station Renewal v0.8: This grf incorporates many of the same items (or updated versions) from the following - Container Freight Station and Harbor; Docks with Containers and Cranes; Industrial Stations Set v0.98 (28 July 2005).

2) OpenGFX New Landscape v0.3: There is now a complete set of OpenGFX v0.2.1.

3) US Road Set v0.85 (14 Sept 2005): This set is now updated to The North American Road Set v1.0.

4) Total Bridge Renewal Set v1.12: There is an update of this set that is compatible with the above road set based on v1.11.

5) US Train Set v0.87.1 (19 July 2007): This set is now updated to v0.87.4 (27 April 2007). 2007 is an error as this update was released in 2008.

These are the ones I know about and use on a semi regular basis. All of these can be in one of three places:

1) Use the search function on these forums specifically in the Graphics Section.

2) At GRFCRAWLER.

3) From the in game download option known as BaNaNaS.

Also be sure that you are using the latest version of the game:

1) v0.7.5: Latest Stable.

2) v1.0 RC-1: Latest Release Candidate.

3) r19221: Latest Nightly Release (Cutting Edge Features released on a nightly basis).

I would recommend either the Nightly or the Release Candidate as both are very stable. On the very rare occasion when the nightly goes wrong you can always revert back to the previous nightly.

I found two more:

1) US Station set v0.85.2 (14 Sept 2005): This set updates to US Station set v0.86 (09 Jan 2006)

2) North American Renewal Trainset: This set updates to North American Renewal Set (NARS) 2.03

Once again they can be found in the same places mentioned previously. I also have to stress again that part of your original problem tibic may stem from the use of so many large sets with similar vehicle types. Such use has almost always proven to be more problematic then it is worth. You would be less likely to have such problems if you decided on one (maybe two) vehicle sets for each type. The latest releases of OpenTTD allow you to save grf presets which would save the time needed to change grfs from game to game. Remember to never change grfs during a running game as this can also lead to multiple problems. Make a decision on which grfs to use before you start a game and then stick with them throughout that entire game. You can always start a game that you never intend to play just to check out how various grfs look when used together. The cheat menu time machine is most helpful when doing this.

I have attached the GRF's in game.
For the rest of my questions, thank you very much.
