Only if the appropriate Action 14 entry is present. NML will generate it automatically, but for old NFO you'd have to do it yourself.Lord Aro wrote:Don't need to do that, it does it automagically

Oh my god this looks amazing. The new version of OpenTTD (1.2.1) supports the extra zoom, is there anyway to get it working with this version?
The cruelest dream is reality.

You can download the grf here: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/1994002/grvts32.grf (~35mb).
I'm trying to get it on BaNaNaS but there are some technical difficulties with the upload :s

Hi there
Does this also work with the new 32bbp zbase graphics? See topic: http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=61581
Or how would I get new graphics for eGRVTS (or any other vehicles) to go along with the zbase graphics?

The same way like you get *any* NewGRF to work: select it in the NewGRF selection and start a game with it. NewGRFs do not care what baseset you use. They cannot and must not care.B. What I meant is to get the NewGRF with 32bbp graphics, or is the GRF 32bpp automatically?

Sorry - but what is the difference between this and the zBase?
Is the zBase just replacement graphics, but GRVTS includes extra vehicles + the graphics?

GRVTS removes the default vehicles, adding its own range complete with the 32bpp graphics for them.nordemoniac wrote:Is the zBase just replacement graphics, but GRVTS includes extra vehicles + the graphics?
zBase replaces (or will replace, it's not finished) the graphics for the entire baseset - i.e. everything you can see in default OpenTTD - but doesn't actually change the items/vehicles available or their characteristics.

I see, thank you!
So the eGRVTS is just an extension of GRVTS, with both older and newer vehicles? Or are the graphics in them different as well?

eGRVTS is 'just' an extended version of GRVTS with about 4x more vehicles.
eGRVTS 2, which is now available for testing, has lots of new graphics.
