Hey everyone,

I start ttdpatchw in windows xp, ive had it going a few months earlier but i come back to try and play the game after i was on holidays and got the excitement of the game back, i start the game the screen goes minimized and is black, it then just crashes with no warning or nothing

ok, i just enabled the win2k in ttdpatch and the screen goes to fullsize now but still crashes.

what version? If its a nightly what rXXXX number? Did TTDPatch generate a crashXX.txt in the TTD Directory?

No TTDPatch did not generate a crashtxt file or anything to tell you that it has crashed bsides your eyes.
Its the TTDPatch 2.5 beta 9 (windows)

We need your ttdpatch.cfg and crashlog to have any hope of fixing this.
If the latter doesn't exist, see my signature.

I was playing around with it last night and restarted into windows xp as i was in windows 64 and it works! It must be something to do with the registry? I had aTTDPatch registry changer program that was meant to change it, mustn have worked, thx ALL

is there a way to get it to work in 64?

I have it working sort of. It hangs as the next thread down talks about, but it starts and I can start a new game. Post your ttdpatch cfg.
