Game crashing on certain date

Hi all,
Many apologies if this has been covered already, but I'm really stuck (and frustrated!)
My ttd patch game has been running fine but all of a sudden when I reach a certain date in the game it crashes and shuts down.
I've tried going back to older save games and carrying on from there, but the game still crashed when it reaches this point.
I'm playing on Windows 7 in compatibility mode for XP SP2.
I only downloaded the game about 2 weeks ago so I presume it's the latest version.
I've attached the most recent crash log, save game and config file.
Thanks in advance.

You appear to have the vast majority of TTDP's featured disabled.
Turning generalfixes on fixes the problem. (generalfixes should pretty much always be turned on)

Hi, thanks for your reply.
I've turned on generalfixes, but the game is still crashing for me at the same point.
A friend of mine sent me the config file so we could play against each other with the same settings.
I've attached the latest crash log.

Try also setting forcerebuildovl to on.
(This is another switch which should frankly always be left on, unless you remember to delete ttloadw.ovl after every upgrade or config change...)
If it still doesn't work, please check that you've edited the right config file and note the exact date at which the crash happens.

Hi, thanks again for your help.
This issue still remains though.
As soon as the date ticks over to April 30th, the game ends.
I'm definitely using the correct config file (it's the only one left).
This is massively frustrating!!!

The crash appears to be upon trying to collect the text ids for a non-existant station to display the subsidiary news item, I believe...
Opening the subsidiary window also triggers a crash...
http://wiki.ttdpatch.net/tiki-index.php ... neralFixes
In particular:
# Active subsidies to stations that have been temporarily removed (the grey sign still exists) are now shown with "N/A" as the owner, instead of showing "Cannot remove obstacles on land" or crashing TTD
# Active subsidies are deleted if their corresponding station is deleted permanently (the grey sign disappears)
If you had been running with it on from the start, this bug would probably not have cropped up...
I will have a look how to delete the subsidy and post back later...
Edit: What are your message settings, and try fiddling them.
It appears that the buggy subsidy is deleted on that date... (Thus triggering a message?)

Again, many thanks for your assistance here.
I'll have a look at it later and let you know how I get on.
Cheers,
