Loving your ships Andy! :D I'm glad to see that someone is finally making a new ship set; I use a lot of ships in my games. MB's NewShips has been around for so long, and the 2cc ship set remains unfinished.

Thanks,
Jake

Good feedback deserves a reward, so here's a preview of the log raft. This has a special feature - it will travel much slower when loaded (to prevent the log raft breaking up!). Speed when unloaded is pretty good, so it can get back for another load quickly.

Also, the log raft has very low costs per ton (to run and to buy). On cost alone, it's the cheapest ship per-ton, however it's slow, so on some routes a faster ship might make more money. Anyway all that aside, it looks cool, so enjoy :)

The loading graphics need some tweaks.

Just been playing with FISH & HEQs and it makes for a really nice approach to the game... especially when using HEQs to transfer wood to docks, that then take lumber via rafts to mills using FISH; that then transport goods to town docks.

Fun, fun, fun.

That log raft looks real good.

Might I suggest what FISH could stand for?

Finest Ships.

Anyone else like it?

When I get done with my current game in OTTD, I will install these and play a new game with them, the 2cc ship set, and Michael Blunck's Newships.

That will make for an interesting game!

You guys tell me

I haven't tested it with anything but FIRS and default industries. It's got a cargo table by Zephyris which seems fairly bulletproof. Nearly every ship is refittable to any cargo the game offers. Give it a go with you favourite cargo set, let me know if there's a problem?

Further suggestion - perhaps if the owners of the graphics don't mind, you could incorporate the short-lived 2CC ships too? I think there was a GRF put out, and then it died, or something.
