[REL] Isle of Man V.1.0

Campaign: Isle of Man
Difficulty: Medium
AI: None
Mods: Earth Slopes

The Isle of Man in the middle of the Irish Sea. It is a crown dependency and not part of the UK. In the railway world it is famous for being the home to the British Isles largest network of Narrow Gauge Railways. (Manx Standard Gauge 3'0")

The map starts in 1900 and is open ended! Build the Isle of Man's network how you want. The actual campaign aim is to deliver 100,000 passengers.

If you want to build a similar network to the current (or past) system. I present you two links: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isle_of_Ma ... y_stations and http://www.subbrit.org.uk/sb-sites/stat ... ndex.shtml for the IoMR. Also: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manx_Electric_Railway and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snaefell_Mountain_Railway for the MER (and SMR.)

The maps industry is closely related too the local industry. A few replacements had to be made here and there.

I plan to find a creator or create my own version for the local locomotives. Currently the trains are the normal British trains. I will make a change in the next release to make the rail into narrow gauge.
If you have any problems tell me. Any information is welcome, for example: problems with mods.

The actual base map was created by Sybil Goose for dave61; this was from the empty map post on tt-forums.net. If either have a problem with this: contact me!

Okay folks. I've tested the mods. The only mod you require is Earth Slopes.
Therefore a present to you, the one; the only!

V.1.0

If you have any other problems, feel free to beat me with a rather large pole.

The trains in use are the Chris Sawyer British locomotives. Standard Guage. So my next task is to locate some approprite narrow guage locos.

There are some Ffestiniog locos and stock, I think by MartinH1990, and some Tallyn stock out there too. Perhaps Strongbow's Slovak electric railcars could be Manx electric railway-alikes. Not exact, but close enough.

Apologies for the double post - did you have another bridge installed on there? I've installed the earth slopes, but seem to still get a brgart (or however you spell it) error.

Er agreed guys, but I already have earth slopes installed, as I mentioned...

I'll check again, maybe I have screwed up somewhere.

A small bump.

I have recently gained control over locotool and had a thought
about this map.

Some trains/trams converted to run on narrow gauge
the IoM gauge is 3ft or 3ft 3".
I have already succeeded in making the Eb 3/5 into
a narrow gauge loco (kind of looks like the IoM stock), and the old 4 wheeler passenger
carriage into a NG also.

But when i tried to get the Ce 2/2 tram to be narrow gauge, a problem occured
see: http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=45577 for the details.

Anywho, if I succeed in in making these, could i post them, or do i need to get permission?

Thanks

Right - poop.
Sorry I have been away for a few weeks and haven't been checking up on this.
I will investigate as soon as I catch up on some work.
