Hey Guys

Recently got back into Lomo and im loving it. Have had a go at creating scenarios before and thought id give it another go. Id say im about half way through it. Just wanted some feedback

Have you got an in-game screenshot? That would give a fair indication as to how this is going. Also, what will be the aims of the scenario? will it be transporting passengers and mail only? or will there be a few industries?

Maybe someone more familiar with the area (than me!) would have some more feedback. Looks alright though!

Yer i will take one and post it within the next hour. Regarding aims i suppose it will be mainly passengers. Personnaly i like to replicate real life operations in the area so i would create ferry services and the Island Line on the east cost of the island. I welcome any help so thanks buddy.

Looking good. Isle of Wight is not exactly known for its industry, so I guess this would have to be a passenger scenario!

I guess you could have forest near Lymington and the Esso refinery at Fawley.

Ok will add the forest and Esso refinery. Are you expecting just default oil refinery or is there an ESSO add on. Also whats the point off adding these in without the corresponding industries for them. eg Oil Well for oil refinery

you can put some off shore drills maybe? you can always transfer it to rail or truck from ship?

it is more of sybolic then anything of you have a noteworthy industry hera and there. make it more realistc (slightly)

There's no Esso add on, but one oil refinery looks much like another. You could put an oil rig in the sea.

Up to you though! Depends if you want oil and goods etc. in the game.

Looks good. I might make some Southern steam locos that would go well with this if I get the time.

Sweet, prehaps you or someone could make the Class 483 as its the current loco on the island line. Here it is on wiki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Rail_Class_483

Heres another Screenshot to wet your appetite. The scenario is I believe near enough completed. I will release it if you want me to.

We would love for you to release this ... and if you release a "no mod" edition, that would be wonderful as we all have different mods. Another suggestion if you plan to develop this scenario further is to add a slight bit of elevation on the island ... like a couple hills, etc. that would make it a bit more scenic and interesting.

ok sure thing. I think its only has the BR set mod and steves slope mod. I also did the no reliabilty mod but dont know if that matters. Ok well ill release this now then and then work on a verison 2 with hills, yer??

i have one question are these areas in real life as flat as they are on the maps? just wondering i don't know much about the area's. thanks.

I dont think its known for its hills, but i shall in version 2 look into it and include as neccesary. Ive included an in game pic of the classic Island Line using the old refurbished Class 483.(Its technically Tube stock but its the same colour as the trains that use the Island Line
