My visit to the UK

I am planning on visiting the UK in the course of the upcomming half year, the prefered time span is 17 October till 25 October ish (might become 16-10 till 25-10 too), the first and last date being my inter-country travel dates. Because of the low budget I currently have and my eagerness of meeting some TT-forums people from the UK I'm looking for TTF members that could over me a place to sleep/eat/drink/have sex/whatever during my times there. In return you get to meet one of the greatest persons that ever walked the Earth (*cough*) and have some good times with aforementioned person.
If you do want to meet me and possibly offer me a place to stay during my trip then I would be very happy to hear that in this topic. I'd prefer it if you could stick some day to it that hasn't been claimed by someone else yet, it is quite hard to be in two places at the same time, except when those two places are within a few meters of each other ofcourse.

Current people who offered their homes to me:
JameiLei (17-10 till 18-10 or 19-10) [Cambridge]

Other people I might meet:
welshdragon [Somewhere in Wales]
Eoin [Around Edinburgh]

I'll have to check dates and ask my new flatmate, but you might be able to spend a night at my place in Newcastle.

I might well be able to put you up for a night or two if you're between Leicester and Nottingham at any point. Not that there's much aroud here to see. :P

Hmm, sounds very interesting, I remember that I do have a reason to go into that direction, although I don't know exactly what it is.

Well, there doesn't have to be very much to see as long as there is a proper (good beer and decent music) pub around there and there a couple of things to do in a nearby city.

Ah, well there's a number of good pubs in the area, along with home brewed beer.

I live opposite a pub. Anyway, if you plan to go to Newcastle let me know and I'll make sure I'm in the city too.

I'm afraid my house is totally full of people. Like my parents. If I lived in a flat though, I'd offer you a space, even if it was the sofa!

Well that's all he can expect at mine! Well, that and a sleeping bag.

Well, aparantly I'm going to your area, so we might be able to just meet during the day time. I still have to look how I'm going to survive the night in Wales though, so far there's two people to meet there, some stuff to see I guess and no place to stay. I recon that it would be even colder outside than here in The Netherlands, a place I don't fancy sleeping ;)

If you want to stay in Preston (35 minutes from Manchester by train) you're welcome to come up for a night out as long as you don't mind kipping on the floor.

I'll happily put you up, as my room has an ensuite bathroom, anytime between those dates is fine!

I have a similar trip planned after my master comes good. Which should be in a good year.

Time to ressurect this from eternal doom!

I will probably be visiting Cambridge, Edinburgh, possibly Glasgow, Newcastle, York and possibly Cardiff, in that order. The order is not entirely determined but I am quite sure to visit Cambridge first for JameiLei and hopefully hot girls ;). Glasgow and Cardiff are on the list but I might skip them due to a possible lack of time. If anyone lives near those cities and wants to meet me (and possibly other TT-Forums people) they should post in this thread.
The only confirmed dates so far are 17th till 19th at Cambridge. I might stop anywhere near where Andel lives on the 17th if he possibly wants to see me too ;)

Also, the offer of having me sleep over is still open! If you are into tinted people snoring on your couch then this is your chance to get one!

I reckon the 23rd will be good for coming to my funky penthouse apartment, and you can then stay a night or a few on a reasonably large and comfortable couch. Friday night out in Newcastle is always a dangerous affair a good laugh, rocking establishments can certainly be visited.

You should come to Minnesota sometime after the 13th of October. Then you can meet me! Again!

Or was the last time too traumatic? ;)

I can see that you're busy indeed, you are a very dirty man and it would probably take a few gardeners a week to clean your hair of all the trees growing in it.

You should do less baby making then ;)

Seeing you hungover is quite disturbing, especially if we're in a car for nearly two hours ;) And I probably won't be able to make it to Minnesota due to a lack of time/funding, unless there is some kind of Minnesota in the UK :P

Ah, that would be very good, I will have to look what I'll do for my return trip then as I did plan to go by train/ferry from Harwich which is quite out of the way of Newcastle :( But I'll guess I'll have to look some more into it.
