Tried to search and found nothing. Sorry if I missed it. Want to know if it is possible to buy and place new industry? Tried the Buy Industry button and it only showed the industries that are presently in the game. Thank you for your time, assistance and patience. BEG

Placing new industry is possible in OpenTTD only, as far as I know. But even in OpenTTD you cannot buy it.

In TTDPatch, it is possible too.
In the scenario editor any industry can be placed anywhere that the current industry set allows.
In a game, resources (mines, wells and farms) must be prospected for ... i.e. the game will either place those industries randomly or it will refuse to place them. However, the other industries can be placed expressly depending upon the restrictions imposed by the industry set currently in use.

No, I went to a cafetaria (or pub, whatever you like to call it) as we usually do on Fridays with the work department. Had a bad snack

. But weére going off topic too much now I fear. Shall I split it off and give gross details in Off Topic

?!

Good. I'll notify the Bundesverband der Lebensmittelkontrolleure that they still have time but that should hurry over to the Michael Blunck laboratory.

That might be a good idea as it would seem that Micahael and I are off on another one of our contests.
