Nice work, going on here, just great, just wondering about the poll, by simcity style buildings do you mean the way you have them now, because thats the way i like them.

ObPeeve: That isn't public domain. Public domain is a very well-defined legal term. One that does not include the necessity of crediting the creator.

Oh yeah. I don't care much about copyright laws. I'm gonna fix it.

@Beardie27 : Simcity style construction, like SC4 with scaffolding fences cover the entire building but not animated and didn't start from the roof of the building.

EDIT : My collection has grown.

So you will not get upset if someone adjusts the brightness to a few tones darker?

Also regarding the foundations, technically it is not a requirement for the pillars to be at the corners of the building.

My idea in 32bpp and in 8bpp with/without error diffusion dithering.

I think 8bpp looks a lot better than the originals, blends in very well with the rest of TTD but still looks original.

This is my name, the graphics look really really nice... except I do have to agree that they are a little bright if you are expecting to have them used with the standard landscape.
They'd also look perfect in conjunction with the Japan Building Set.... would you mind if I adapt them with Japanese billboards and incorporate a few into it? We need to have as many as possible to build our metropolis'!

No. In fact I like it more especially the 8bpp with error diffusion dithering :) .

Thanks :) .

Yes, you can use my artwork - just wait until I finished 20 w2ws :P .

Could you make at least some of the buildings compatible with cc? It would add some color variation, which is always good.

I can, but not now. Well, the color is there somewhere in Purno's tutorial. I look into it.

BTW, here's another dull building but since I have filled up the empty spaces with ads including 'Save The Enbironment' (yes, this is intentional :P ), the building looks more colorful :) .

I would humbly suggest, from my point of view as merely a player, that in the future of this set, you aim to draw at least two separate views for each set of building, and somehow code it so that the buildings always face the road. How it currently is, the w2w aspect is lost on SW<->NE roads, as seen in the screenshot a couple posts ago. I know this is possible, as in i think the suburban renewal set or something, but i'm not sure how difficult it is.

They're just looking better and better and better...
I seriously recommend you quickly redraw a flat grass tile in the same style to see how it looks.

@Lilman424 : Yes, I know. I just have to get this set finished. I don't code this set though :? .

@stevenh : Well, if you're insisting me. Here's the quick sketch.
