Hi Guys

1st i would like to say nice forum, hurry up with the new template as subsilver is the worst.

Anyways i have downloaded TT deluxe and thinks its goods but im having problems with my fecking trains they keep crashing i cannot get the the lights right for some reason, anyone have ideas.

also need a download link for original TT. p.s i looked in the link section but cannot work out which i need.

These are some simple ones i probly aint done em perfect but its easy to understand.

next question how to link diamend mines that are on a island to the banks?

bridges.
to build a bridge go to the rail building thing and click on the button that looks....like a bridge....and click on one slope (or flatland) and drag to another slope (or flatland)

there was too much water to build a bridge on, it would not let me do that or raise the land

sounds like you need the patch

can you give me a link to it cos im one of those thick newbies you see

Hi,

With the patch and the windows version of TT it's a piece of cake

1. Use the longer bridge switch that allows you to build longer bridges

2. Use a ship to transport the diamonds to a dock near the bank, use unload order, then a truck or train to move those diamonds to the bank
This is the feederservice switch

3. Use planes to transport the diamonds oversees, you can refit practically everything

As you can see, lots of options

i would like to try these but i cannot remember the Game and how do i know if the game is patched or the patch is running

to playing TTD+TTDPatch you have to run (always) ttdpatch[w].exe ... all switches can be see in DOS window (if you have 'verbose on' in your configration file, usually ttdpatch.cfg) and there are two programs which will help you with creating and customizing TTDPatch (TTDXConfigurator and TTDPatch Starter)

how do i configure this cfg patch file im lost at this patch thingy need step by step help.

also how do you delete trucks and boats and things.

might be good if someone as a instruction manual for ttd

there is TTD manual to download at mine page ... and to configure CFG as for you, as new TTDPatch user I suggest to use TTDXConfigurator

whats the best way to get the oil from the oil rigs when its to far for the ships to go it says it cannot do it.

do i build little island and rail it across????

use bouys .. bouys are some kind of waypoints for ships

how to i place these to i place 2 so they go through them or just 1 eg

point 4. is necessary if you want ship to back to oil platform

Or use ship depots instead of buoys , then they get service at the same time
