Besides what LA already said (all contained in our grf pack): I like the NA road set, the NA city set and the Stolen trees. I usually activate most station grfs, too.
Mind to NOT activate all grf, but select the few which suit the game you plan to play.

But it depends much, where you are from. Purno uses Dutch grfs, because he is from Dutchland. I prefer to use the DB-Set and I live in Germany. People, who are in Great Britain would like to use the UK Set.
But there are several things you should think about:
Infrstructure:
Roads (European, American,...?)
Rails (original, narrow gague?)
Bridges: (Total Bridge Replacment Set, pb_viaduct, ...)
Tunnels: (BK Tunnels, ...)
Landscape:
Trees: Stolen Trees, or OpenGFX?
Terrain: I use the "New Terrain"-grf, but I don't remember, where I found it.
Water: There are several water-grfs. Look at Grf-Crawler
Industry:
I prefer PBI or ECS, but the best is you try out all
Vehicles:
Trainset: see above, depends on your country. But it is also allowed to use another one

Roadvehicle set: I use very rarely roadvehicles, don't know, what is the best. I have Long Vehicles
Ships: don't ask me^^
Aircrafts: don't ask me
Stations:
I always use all I have.
Try out all
I hope this can help you. (English mistakes are intended and exist to entertain you)
mfg,
Aylo

That may perhaps be because the Dutch catenary is way prettyer then the vanilla one, and the dutch stations are nice ones as well... The signals i heavent tried yet tho
and the 2cc set isnt very dutch, there are dutch trains there, but not more then any other country

Just as a correction ( so you can learn from it ) , it's Holland or The Netherlands. ( i'm Dutch too , just like Purno ) and it's a bad excuse to say that your mistakes are intended to entertain us

Dutchland ftw.

Really, it sounds MUCH better than Nederlands or Holland or something like that

..
Or imagine we starting to call you Nederlanders or Hollandish people

Nederlanders or Hollanders is exactly how we call ourselves !

Well, another thing to remember is Deutchland is Germany (German for Germany, infact) so calling Holland "Dutchland" is more than likely to result in confusion especially for German speakers. (Not to try and say they are stupid, far from, just if someone says "I'm looking for trains from Dutchland" then that could be misinterpretted as Germany, especially given the appalling spelling and grammar of some of the people who pop up here asking questions)
Oh, out of interest (and totally off-topic) what do Germans call Holland? Das Nederlands? (excuse me for being a little ignorant)

According to Wikipedia, they call it "Holland", rather as I was expecting. There is a German article by that name, anyway.
Now if you wanted to know what they call the Netherlands, you might want to consider asking that question instead. Or just poke around on the German Wikipedia; your German can't be any worse than mine.

You know, if we ( the Dutch people ) go on holiday to France in example , and they see some Dutch people , they sai 'hey , kijk , Nederlanders! ( hi , look, Dutch people , this is translated from Dutch ) and Hollandish people sounds it bit German to me , but that can be a mistake from my side becouse I just got my first 5 lessons of German at school this week
