I want to change the cargo types of a plane. It now only can transport 5 types and I want it to transport every cargo type.

Doesn't something like this exist already? Before you guys send him off to learn grf coding, which is, honestly speaking, not just.. a piece of cake imo?

correct me of im wrong here, and if it counts as a "just", it's just 1 line of action0 code that is actually needed...

There once was a tool, made by Orudge IIRC, to change various stats from the original vehicles only. I forgot it's name though.

ttdalter? works only for ttd(patch) and not for open...

The Russian plane set might also have that possibility...

Correction: Works for TTD only. Because of NewGRF TTDAlter is incompatible with TTDp.

Um... That would be a no.

There are reasons that TTDAlter and TTDPatch sometimes do not get along, but newgrf is not one of them.

Version data. TTDAlter sometimes changes things that TTDPatch uses to determine what parts of TTD to modify. Similarly, if you're modifying GameGFX.exe and then running TTDLOADW.OVL, the changes to the one file are unlikely to be reflected in the other.
