Simutrans 100.0 aka "something like a stable 1.0" is now available.

Pak128 aka hi-res graphics is not yet available but there are alpha quality nightlies for the adventurous. The latest stable version for pak128 is Simutrans 0.99.17.1.

When will a compatible pak128 come out?

I downloaded this - first attempt with Simutrans ever. It seems quite good, like a real economic simulation with specific supplies and demands - the player can no longer shape the economy in the way he can in the TT/Loco series. Hard though, I have yet to figure out how to actually make a profit in it!
