I'll tell you, without proper ground tiles (which you haven't), they really are not ready for coding...

Decode the original TTD .grfs or other building .grfs to see how proper ground tiles look like.

Graphics look very fine though.

Cannot have everything available in a snap, unless you are willing to give a hand.

Nice buildings.
I think the offices resemble those of the Canadian Set. Not to mention a slight influence from some Simutrans/Blender buildings.

True, but I'm just informing him he cannot expect coding when those ground tiles aren't finished yet.

I fully understand they are not totally ready for coding, hence I hadn't posted anything in the coding thread. I am currently putting together the actual building sprites for coding, gardens are something I will be working on soon!

Re: offices1_8bpp.png

I couldn't help noticing (finally! I used that phrase!) that all buildings in this set are divided along NW-SE axis. How about the other one for some diversity?

Its "offices1", there's an "offices2" in progress...

All's clear then. Thanks :)

...the construction steps look a bit 'non-constructive'...
Yeah, and all due to my laziness. If someone wants to draw scaffolds over all the buildings please go ahead!
...construction site in winter...
I have snowy construction graphics but I decided they were shown for such a short time it wasn't really worth it. the original graphics don't discriminate but a newGRF could...

Attached is an example garden, what do you think? I have made generic concrete/asphalt, grass, flowers, bare earth and fence graphics which can be layered to produce all the gardens for all the construction stages...

Darn.

I'll be away from my PC until Saturday/Sunday, otherwise I'd make a start on them now.

Besides, Purno, it looks like you're interested in coding these but if you get bored with it or anything let me know and I can take some of the work off your hands :P (I've done only basic coding of new houses but every little helps, right?)

16 gardens to go with the 32 houses (there are two house colour schemes for each garden).

I'm not entirely happy with them, but I can always update the sprites after it has been coded...

I think they look great! Keep up the good work :-)

And another thing, attached is a GRF of my canals I drew a while ago. They have been fully coded and are in theory ready to be added to newInfrastructure, but I think my lock graphics look rubbish, does anyone want to have a go/tweak them?

I couldn't help noticing that all of these offices are divided along SW-NE axis as opposed to offices1

I like'em. I really do.

Maybe some pixels in the gardens (flowers) are very bright.

You may go ahead if you want, ATM it seems I'm a little too addicted to WoW.

I know it's a bit late ( about two months ), but I noticed one bug in combined road set. As you can see it's on T junctions ( in both directions left or right in UK set ).
