Has anyone tried to make a grf based off the locos form RRT3?

I am rather certain that most trains in RRT3 are involved in one of all the trainsets around for OpenTTD

Could anyone deny that?

What's exactly the point in having RRT3 vehicles in OTTD? If you want those vehicles, go play RRT3. IMO, there are plenty of other good vehicle grfs available.

Don't get me wrong, if someone wants to develop a RRT3 set for OTTD, by all means, please do so!

Other than the fact that OTTD doesn't normally go farther back than 1920, there are way, way more locos available for OTTD than RRT3.

To try to fix this, the folks over at hawkdawg.com have made a bunch of "Frankenstein" locos by putting bits and pieces of the original RRT3 locos together and reskinning them. So you get cool things like double GP7s, double GP35s, Norfolk & Western's superb Class J, "Royal Hudson" etc. Member WP&P reskinned a bunch of the rolling stock (cars/wagons) to a more North American and less general look.
