Set first unread post as default

Is there anyway to set an option in the BB profile to send me to the first unread post when I click the title? It seems silly (for a logged in member) to have to click the title then click the first unread post link.

N.B. I know that by subscribing to a thread will email me a link to the first unread but I already receive to many emails
