Train doesn't pick anything up on stations :-(

I'm using the win95 version of TTD with the TTDPatch, but something is (terribly) wrong. I build a station next to a factory and had a few trains ship livestock and grain to it. But later in the game when i wanted to transport the goods out of there, the train I made pick up the stuff did in fact not pick anything up. Even when I made the train wait for full load it just went to the station and turned around. At the stations inventory-list there was not displayed any goods waiting to be shiped. Very strange...
I have just installed the game on my XP computer and have noticed this kind of problem twice, does anybody know what to do about it? I would very much apreciate a little help

Do you have the vehicles bringing stuff on un-load? In that case don't put them on un-load, unloading has changed with the patch.
Can you maybe post a screen?

Nothing of the sort, just basic....
a station at the factory
a station at the farm
a station at the city
one train set to go from farm to factory waiting for full load at farm
one train from factory to city waiting for full load at factory

i had something similar, i goods train just went right in station then right out again without stopping, then it went around again and stopped.
i had to re-design the track becuase of traffic and when i did it seemed to have fixed it.
check the station, it doenst say 'livestock/grain on-route from blah blah' does it?
urm, u have checked you gave the train goods trucks?

1. Make sure that you don't have the "Unload" switch on in any of your orders, this forces the train to leave it at the station without cashing in (used for feeder services).
2. With selectable goods, goods will not start to appear until a train with carriages of that good type appears at the station. If it is something like a factory which is fed by other things, the goods will also not appear until a train delivers something to the factory.
3. The station must be within the catchment area of the factory. If it's a bit far away try moving it closer.

Well, when the grain/livestock trains arrive at the station I do get cash for the load and I use the same station to pick up goods. No extra stuff is on the trains orders for that station except the goods train is set to wait for full load.

Give us a screenshot, this could help.

I had to make another example, in this example the train will not pick up livestock / grain.
Here is the screenshots, for some reason they are in reversed order

This screenshot explains everything: you are using the non-stop switch while you have this option switched on in your TTDPatch configuration file:
'nonstop' (-n)
Now your trains head to a station without stopping there! This is for the non-stop switch in TTDPatch makes your trains go to the station without stopping there. Very useful if you want to prevent your trains from taking the wrong route by using waypoint stations. If you switch it off, your train will go a station without stopping at any station in between your start and end station.

Yep. Previously the non-stop switch still made trains stop at the station, which didn't make sense because non-stop means "not stopping". So when you set orders to "non-stop" they will "not stop" and go right past it! However, it may look like the train stops because it has to do that to change directions at the end of the line.

I think the idea was that the train wouldn't stop at any intermediate stations. Since everybody builds the equivalent of railway superhighways these days that's not really an issue (anymore). Like in the original Railroad Tycoon, you could set a train to be a local, limited, or express, and that would determine what level of stations it stopped at (as you generally just connected station to station).
