OpenTTD Graphics won't load?

Hi all,

First of all a great forum for a great game.

I have installed OpenTTD version 0.6.0 but I can't get new graphics to work with the game. I have followed the instructions in the readme thus:
"Any NewGRF file used in a game is stored inside the savegame and will refuse
to load if you don't have that grf file available. A list of missing files
will be output to the console at the moment, so use the '-d' flag (on windows)
to see this list. You just have to find the files (http://grfcrawler.tt-forums.net/)
put them in the data/ folder and you're set to go."

But when I open the game and view the Available NewGRF files window I only see Generic Tram Set v0.4 visible. I have tried 'Rescan Files' but nothing comes up.

I have probably missed something blindingly obvious but can't seem to get my head round it

Please help!

Heres your answer for savegames. For a new game, go to GRFCrawler, download a couple GRFs and enable them

to have new grf's, you first have to download them, and then put the "filename".grf file in the openttd/data folder (or whatever you called your openttd main map)

then ingame at the main menu go to new grf's, select add, and then select the new grf's you want to use  pretty simple when you got used to it :)
