I did an extensive search for an American road vehicle set. I found discussions about such a set using articulated vehicles as appearances of semi-trailers, but I did not find an actual set to use in the game. Does such a set exist, or in the works? I tried using TTDAlter before my current game to adjust the food trucks to appear in a temperate setting, but the trucks will not change (remain as paper trucks). Thus the layout I have in my current game would be ideal for some food haulers, but alas, short of using trains, I am stuck.

George's LV4 has one or two US trucks, besides the Model T's, available after a few years of play. They are quite refitable and offer food as a refit wherever food is available. They're not articulated yet.

Also, Pikkabird and DanMack were collaborating on some North American RV's. I'm not sure what the current status is for this set.

Buses are pretty much done with a couiple more to do, trams are started and trucks have the first generation complete. Haven't had much time to work on it lately, but I'll be getting back on it soon.

Are you drawing American trams, DanMacK? I researched a whole collection of them, to provide service for all 3 climates.

I'd love to have a thorough US tram pack. Right now I have no trams to use... Quite a few of them were already drawn, so it wouldn't be too much work to finish them off. Dunno about the coding though.

Do you know anything about the status of articulated road vehicles? Most of George's would look right at home on American roads, but they do look a bit strange not bending where they should.

Right now I have a single truck birney, dual truck Peter-Witt and a PCC, all in CC. Others have been postponed for the moment.

Yes indeed there were, and they are all to be found on that link in my last post. There's really only a few left; then it would just be getting them coded...
