OpenTTD 0.5.3-RC3 is just released. You can get it here:

Hopefully we are getting closer to a real 0.5.3 stable release.

Yay! It took a little bit compared to RC-1 to RC-2. But thats not bad.
More development time = better results.

The following error message obtained after installing this download. Similarly, could not load some of my earlier games played on nightlies. (I guess that should be expected)

Loading nightlies savegames AND config files in stables is not considered to be needed and does therefor not work. Primarily because the configs and savegames from the nightlies contain more information/different information than the ones of the stables would have.
