Basically, is 2cc supported on stations in OTTD?

Oh Dalestan... you really are a waste of space sometimes.... :roll:

Ive drawn 2cc sprites for the stations. I was asking in order to save the coder hassle. If they dont, then I will draw them in 1cc and use those until 2cc is (possibly) implemented.

Ok fella, cheers. It will have been for you anyway with the Industry Renewal Set. Ive drawn the gold/diamond mines with some 2cc effects on some tiles (For variety). I guess we'll go with 1cc for now then.

I just discovered today that in the latest nightlies of OTTD 2cc is implemented. (r11400+ or so, using 11436 myself)

Yes, 2cc was added a long time ago. This thread was about making it possible to use in stations, which it currently isn't

We have no idea if it will be integrated into trunk, since
a) no one wrote it yet,
b) no one in the dev team is working on it (that I know of)
c) no one has raised an interest in the dev team to code it (that I know of)

Well, I don't know if there is any way of getting them to do it, or at least to write support for 2cc in buildings, so there can be some more varieties in the game.

Perhaps it's even possible to raise the player count ('cause there can be more companies using different colors/color combinations) on SP and/or MP games and get the game (especially on large maps) even more interesting and competitive...

That's more possible than 2cc for stations atm because there has been played a game with max 55 clients possible to have connected too. AFAIK that patch was sent to FS too, wasn't it?

I actually don't mean 55 clients connected, playing with a max of 8 companies, but a larger num of companies... Also, there are way more company colors available, than companies which can run at the same time in-game.
