I was just wondering what train carriages currently are not taken. I was thinking about making the fruit carriage.

That depends on the climate. There's a list of vehicle ID's here: http://wiki.ttdpatch.net/tiki-index.php?page=VehicleIDs

Toyland IDs are not used in any of the other climates, so use one of those

For trains and train carriages, I think it is safe to go by what the wiki says is done/isn’t done. Nearly all the carriages in the .blend thread were removed about a year ago, so I think you could have a go at making any of them without much concern that they have already been done.

Also, Sapphire... as mentioned above, make sure you specify that you are asking about the 32bpp graphics!!!!
