Where'd you find 5.2.0? I think there are a lot of people who'd like it. Especially those who are still using 0.5.2.
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.

0.5.3 is, at this moment, not yet released.

Nope, but there is 0.5.3-RC2 .... I think he probably meant this version.
If you need something, do it yourself or it will be never done.

My patches: Extra large maps (1048576 high, 1048576 wide) (FS#1059), Vehicle + Town + Industry console commands (FS#1060), few minor patches (FS#2820, FS#1521, FS#2837, FS#2843), AI debugging facility

Other: Very large ships NewGRF, Bilbo's multiplayer patch pack v5 (for OpenTTD 0.7.3)

Then that is what you should have said. We are not all in possession of magic crystal balls that tell us what you actually meant to say.

That's no excuse. If you even are ten, which I doubt. I learned how to use my shift and punctuation keys correctly long before I turned ten. Same for learning how to use my spell checker.

Even if he isn't ten you could be more polite. Be a bit more understanding please. We all know what he meant in his first post, why act stupid and let him post several post correcting himself if you could have answered immediately?

So everybody knows that 5.2.0 == 0.5.3-RC2? Well, I for sure did not.

A new user on the forums mentions a version which is obliviously wrong because it isn't released, he reports "having no problems while there where many people complaining". And a recent Release candidate (0.5.3-RC2) was unplayable and the forum was full of people complaining about it.

guess which version he meant...

don't play stupid... you're not.

0.5.3-RC1 was (and still is) unplayable. I've not heard such complaints about 0.5.3-RC2.

I'm kinda disappointed it took 14 posts to get to what I'm thinking is the correct answer to the thread: The complaints were pointed towards RC1, whereas the version you have is RC2 and therefore should be working fine.

Maybe that's because you should have been more clear, or more correct.

I can vaguely understand how "0.5.2" could turn into "5.2.0". But I see no possible scenario in which "0.5.3-RC2" could turn into "5.2.0". I can conceive of no situation where an attempt to type two letters could possibly result in the appearance of none.
