1. don't post .pcx, only some people can view those.
2. what is the year you are playing in.
3. if it is before 1950 you must have a newvehicles .grf set.

His problem isn't that he cannot build trains, it is that his vehicle list doesn't display the trains he has.
I myself cannot offer any explanation as to why that is, but I bet the patchdevs will need a little more information...

i have exactly the same problem, but when i click one of the 'bars' in the list the vehicle window for that 'bar' will open. The problem is that the graphics for the vehicle window arn't loading for each 'bar'.

right, i'm in the 1970's and i have the same problem as this, so you can build them, but they jsut dont show up..i think there's a huge bug..as it doesnt do it all the time, only once in a while (ie if you start a new game it might work, but then something else is broken)

Try resizing the vehicle list window.
Its quite an old bug which is usually fixed with the window being resized.

it has one big really big problem... as you can see You can't resize that window... (there's simply no drag box for it)

I wonder if the window was resizeable in TTDPatch 2.0.1 alpha 53. Have you tried one of the nightly builds?

as i said i use the latest builds, it seems to work sometimes and not others...and then something else breaks...it's becoming annoying to the point if making me nuts lol

Found the cause, it seems resizeable window feature requires 'vehsortlist' on at some value (default is 10).
(Turning it off here, gives the same effect you get).
Try setting 'sortvehlist' to 10 and it should all work.
Hope that helps,

Maybe you should delete your 'ttdpatch.cfg' and let TTdpatch generate a new one for you?
It might fix it, although I suggest not letting ttdxc alter it before hand.

I'm having the same problem, but I can't seem to be able to fix it. If I do both (delete the .cfg file and put the 'sortvehlist 10' in the command line), I get the error "can't find the transport tycoon cd". I've tried to do both separately, but that doesn't do anything.
