Request: Icon for BuildOTTD

Hi all
I'm getting near being done with version 1.0 of BuildOTTD and I could use a set of icons for the program. So if one of you graphics geniuses would make some for me I would be very thankful.
If you don't know already: BuildOTTD is a graphical front end to compiling the source of OTTD with or without a patch. More info in the
thread.
I had this cheesy idea to use the existing OTTD icon and replace the $ in the centre with a spanner or some such tool. That being said, I am very open to other suggestions.
Icons needed:
program icon
setup file icon
uninstall file icon
Edit: It's the program icon that is important. I can use the default setup and uninstall icon no problem.
If you make an icon and send it to me or post it here, then you should know that I might just use it and distribute it with the program under GPL2 license. Unless of course you state clearly that you don't want that
Thank you in advance
Klaus

Certainly a tool like a hammer or something related to construction, is what is needed.

Possibly replace the $ on the OTTD icon with a hammer (the sort of hammer on the Communist Russia Flag)?
It would be kind of ironic being for a program to compile a money-making program

No.
This is not a platform for political statements.

Quick one that I knocked up. Looks a bit unclear when resized to 16x16 though.

hmmm, you are right. I really like the idea though, maybe if there were less pieces? I don't know really, I'm not that gifted with graphics

Yes, the blue one is a winner in my opinion, it looks very smart!
plus it will be easily recognisable even at 16x16

Make 256x256 for Vista, too.

Attatched is a zip of 8 .pngs and 2 source .xpr files;
BuildOTTD 16 to 256 px - versions of the design posted above
BuildOTTD 2 16 to 256 px - simplified version (no screwdriver)
Any comments/corrections?
Awesome program btw, so easy to test out the latest patches!

Zephyris: Looks nice, I would just suggest making the text around the bottom a light colour, becuase its very hard to read as it is.

It looks really nice
I can see why you made a version without the screwdriver because it looks strange in 16x16. On the other hand the tilt looks a bit odd on the spanner without it, maybe a vertical thingy like this attached?

The issue with text legibility on the 48px image is simply down to not enough pixels, not sure what to do there, ill probably blank it and only leave the text on the 256px version. I might darken the text bg to increase legibility.
I'm most concerned about the clarity of the spanner on the 16px version and the spanner+screwdriver in the 32px version - still needs work!

Use Irfanview, resample using the Lasgoz filter (or whichever is the slowest). That should keep something.

I think that only the spanner in vertical position would do the trick.
Like ... erhm

...
this one I made.

What about the current OTTD logo with something like puzzle pieces. (As in for example the MS Office 97' logo.)
