Is there a way to have multiple cargos in a road vehicle?

Among the Swedish buses there is a certain type called the "Skvader" which carries both passengers and goods - it looks like a cross between a bus and a lorry (see picture).

Is there a way to make a road vehicle have multiple cargos? An articulated vehicle with an invisible part2 maybe?

Not in a basic sense.

Yes, that´d be the only way to go. OTOH, I doubt that aRVs are working already to this point?

couldnt you have it function like an aircraft?
i think that the actual aircraft holds the passeners and the shadow holds the mail.

Great, but road vehicles don't have shadows...

Interesting reading about that bus. Considering that it's a odd hybrid, the name does fit. ;)

And the shadows actually store some of the cargo? Well, that probably explains why aircraft is the only type of vehicle that is able to store different types of cargo in what seems to be a single entity... when it's apparently is not. I did know since before that some effects are considered vehicles by the game though...

Yes, but not all vehicles always have effects. In the case of RVs, the only effect that commonly appears is the breakdown smoke.
