4096 patch. I 've never tested it. Maybe with a few cities only will work and saves will be possible.
HOPE NO ONE WILL LOCK THIS TOPIC AGAIN.
I WILL KILL HIM

Oh, this part of his website made me wonder...
http://lidars.narod.ru/Index.files/Page1786.htm
I imagined Sergiej_S as a much younger person, really.
The Internet - deceiving people.

Well if that is Sergej, that's just you then, I always thought that Sergej was a serious adult person. But there are people of all ages working on things related to ttd. I think that probably Jim Powers is the oldest here, and he does great work.
I suppose bad automatic translators will make everyone appear younger... I wonder if he thinks he's dealing with a bunch of toddlers

I show variants GUI Toolbar Zoom for the version OpenTTD 32bpp
The minimally necessary version - OpenTTD 32bpp 8942.

The smiley at the end made me assume it was a joke.
Anyway, Sergej, the oilfield looks stunning. Keep em comming.
EDIT: Now that Wacki mentions it, you forgot to put his name up.

I think that Sergiej is very confused right now. He didn't ask for permission, because maybe he understood that sending e-mails and PMs is wrong. That's why he posted a list of authors in his first post - and Wacki, you are there.
I'm not justifing him or anything - just want to understand poor Sergiej.
BTW Wacki, I don't think that swearing and cursing in non-English language is appropriate here...

Well, the picture with the oil rig blatantly uses the rig itself to draw the attention. The rig was designed by Wacki. The post says graphics by Joed. Its unfair to Wacki for his awesome work.
Sadly, Im joining the same school as others now and Sergej is going a little bit too far with all of this.

Ok, the text in the post makes it obvious that the graphics he's talking about are the ones used in the toolbar (that is what his post is about). So there's someone else's oil rig in it

what's the problem? The oil rig isn't even what the post is about!
I don't know what the problem here is, but I'm certain it's not worth people being so hostile about it. If you want to alienate the other artists who put effort into keeping these projects alive, it'll be your loss in the end. :-S
(Don't mean to sound angry or argumentative, just being as clear as i can

)

What do you mean?

For starters copy pasting is not a big effort at all...
And Sergej should have tought before making that pic becouse now it looks EXACTLY like if he is showing off the rig and miscredit it i don't get why else would the rig be in the centre in high zoom along with it's industry window open...

Atlantis, I agree with you in that a showcase is a great way to promote enthusiasm about the 32bpp scheme. Sadly, Sergej is doing it all the wrong way. Whether thats a language barrier (which I doubt) or a personal thing, I dont know.
Basically, I know the toolbar is what its talking about BUT as other people have said many times -
Many people on this forum wrote:Just show the one item you are trying to showcase not a load of other images too
Or similar statements.
See, if I were doing it and I really couldnt bring myself to show just a toolbar, the least I would do is to add a line saying -
This picture also shows an Oil Rig designed by Wacki. This is not a grf but just a 3d drawing that he has created for illustration purposes.
Another example is the way he 'shows a map of London' and shows just a house. Its a waste of time, it shows nothing of London, merely it shows someone elses graphic!
Killer11 sums it up about this example really. The oil rig is obviously the main focal point.
We have seen these darn toolbars so many times now!
Atlantis wrote:What do you mean?
Well, he rubs many artists backs up becuase he takes their images without their permission. This is just one example of it. He also doesnt give the necessary credit whether he has permission or not. This also seems an example of that. Im just finding it tiring now.

Again we begin all at first?
We have agreed - that the general(common) list of the artists is in the first message, and I in the current letters shall write only about those artists, which job to be in the given file / or archive!!!
Why it require(demand) only of me???
Why such requirements I do not see from others???
