It is that time of the year again. Doctor Who returns to our screens this saturday with a new sidekick and more evil villians. Nice to see the Daleks are going to make an apperance as the trailer seemed to suggest.

Anyone looking foward to the new series?

Does that mean we have to run around screaming 'Spoilers Alert' so we dont give away any of the action to people who have not watched it yet?

But you do run around in small circles waving your arms in the air so well, JP!

Oh, i know!

But screaming 'Spoilers Alert' is so different to 'Crisis' i might get confused and fall on the floor screaming.

When are they going to finish the Daleks off? So many times, the last of the Daleks have supposedly been killed, then more appear. I think the last drop of sour milk must have been squeezed from the cow's bruised and bleeding udder by now.

R ! shame on you.

You could run around JP, waving your arms still, but yell this instead...

DANGER WILL ROBINSON.

I don't mind spoilers personally.

Alert: Spoiler for end of last season!
Or something.

I saw the last episode of the previous season the other day, and it's worth pointing out that one of the black Daleks from the sphere-thing realised everything was being sucked through the breach and shouted "EMERGENCY TEMPORAL SHIFT!" in his scary Dalek voice before vanishing into thin air.

So it's pretty obvious at least one of them is going to come back. :P

Looks like the Daleks return in Episode 4 - Daleks in Manhattan, and yes! its the Black one that vanished '"EMERGENCY TEMPORAL SHIFT'

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.
The Doctor and Martha arrive in 1930s New York, only to find trouble brewing in the Big Apple. They find themselves thrown into an adventure involving Pig Men, sewers, showgirls and the Empire State Building. But the biggest shock is yet to come, as the Cult of Skaro make an unwelcome return--and this time, the cyborgs are attempting to create a Dalek/Human hybrid in the sewers...

----

Russell T. Davies confirmed in issue 378 of Doctor Who Magazine that the black Dalek shown in the teaser trailer shown at the end of The Runaway Bride is Dalek Sec of the Cult of Skaro, last seen temporally shifting itself to escape being sucked into the Void at the end of Doomsday. Davies also is quoted as saying that Sec was not the only Dalek to escape using the Emergency Temporal Shift in that episode.

I await the series with bated breath. I'm also going to cry when it's finished. All good.

Dammit, I'll be out at that time. Maybe I'll record it, but I never seem to get round to watching things when I do.
