when I playing with OpenTTD, and I want to build a station, it says the local authority refuses... so I need to bribe the authority, but it costs much, and sometimes a regional investigator discovers it.. there should be a bribe the investigator button, because in the current form is unreal

anyway, I made a new cheat: authority disabler: if you enable it, the local authority will allow you everything - build & destroy... also I've modified the magic bulldozer a bit: it let you destroy everything - even other player's things

enjoy it.

Hehe lol, actually I think the magicbulldozer idea is a pretty fun cheat. But it should be seperate from the original magicbulldozer. Because 'destroying' your rivals stuff can be counted as a cheat on it's self.

And about bribing the investigator as a cheat, that is where you have the magicbulldozer have for. Or do I have the wrong idea?

HOW INSTALL THAT CHEAT?

By turning off the caps-lock key on your keyboard (it's left to the letter A usually) first.

Secondly, you need to know a little bit about programming, because you can apply the patch only to the sourcecode of OpenTTD so you will have to recompile it into your own binary program.

well, authority disabler + extra dinamyte = old magic bulldozer the new magic bulldozer are similar to water flood - destroys everything and about the investigator you don't need to bribe it, because if you enable the authority disabler it'll allow everything - so you don't need to bribe the authority and if you don't bribe the authority, the investigator can't discover it, and if the investigator doesn't discover it you don't need to bribe him

No, there isnt. You need to be able to build your own binaries. Luckily, this is dead easy for OTTD - check the wiki for compilation instructions.

And, as others have mentioned, lose the caps lock.

Caps kills...

BuildOTTD is the tool you need if you don't know how to apply a patch...

that was half a year ago. the thread was bumped because the patch is updated to latest revision. read before you post
