Hey Fans!

Let me introduce you the old electric cogwheel train of my city, Budapest. It is a Rowan system coach (which means the coach has only one axle, the other side is based on the engine...like truck+trailer) and a small engine made by Ganz in 1929.

Today it's a museum stock of the Budapest Transport Co. There are some minor chages in it's livery!

I hope I can post you the operatible modell soon! :D

What is your code for making the tram run on rack rail? I've been having trouble.

it runs on narrow gauge track

I know that. I'm having trouble with the code for making it require rackrail. When it's in the game, my engine keeps slipping on steep hills.

Here are some ideas for your problem:

<bit name="rackrail">1</bit> recquired to use rackrail

<useobject desc="tracktype" class="17">TRACKNG </useobject> this is for narrow guge track, like
<useobject desc="tracktype" class="20">ROADTRAM</useobject> for trams

<useobject desc="rackrail" class="16">TREXRACK</useobject> and this is for a vehicles which use rackrail, not to slip on slopes.

And watch for number of mods! 1 mod is enough, because of catenary, if you use catenary.

I hope it will be a salvation. If not, than just split the .dat wilth Locotool, and compare your .xml stuff with the fogas .xml stats!

Have succes!

I tried that, but then I get a message saying "Could not find object to use for trackmod[1]".

Could I just send you the engine and you could have a look at it?

Wait a moment!

I think I know what is the trouble!

You don't want to use catenary, do you?

In that case you must give 0 for the trackmods at the start (maybe :))) of the xml.
It finds it missing, while you have trackmod, but don't have the line of the overhead wires mod close to the end of the setup lines, before the sprites lines.

The trackmod is for catenary, but if you don't want to use catenary, the trackmod have to be 0.

If it doesn't work, than send me the xml, I can take a look, but can not promise anything :D
