[REL] Brighton-Cardiff

Post by Lostintheplot »

This one is released. I've been working on it all morning!

Points to note:
-It needs no mods, but I'd recommend using the BRSet and the Tourist Centre.
- I've added only a few industries, but that should be enough
- I'm quite happy to change parts of the scenario in response to feedback - just don't ask me to do it all again! :D

Also, on the map, I couldn't quite fit all the towns in. The missing ones are:
Portsmouth (at the top)
Eastbourne (at the left)
Cardiff (also at the left)
Taunton (at the bottom)

They look like awesome ideas - I especially like the look of number 2!
Age of Industry Replacement Set
Themed industry set for OpenTTD

The Greenest Valley
A beautiful scenario featuring Cardiff and the south Wales valleys

Mountains and Prairies
Huge scenario based on Western Canada

I'll try and get started soon, Locomotion hates me currently. If you're lucky, you may even get all three!

EDIT: I've (hopefully) got a mod-free version up and running. I'll get started tomorrow

OK, I started last night on the London one. But because I was simultaneously using my plan, a map and the SWT routemap, I ended up with everything out of place and in odd positions. So I started on the Brighton-Cardiff route (bit of a misleading name, because it's got a bit more than that. If anyone can think of a better name....). Due to my underestimating the map size, I've been able to extend the area to Taunton and Weston Super Mare, and there's also a large gap which could become the area east of Reading or north of Brighton.
