Well, you must give it to Brianetta, the idea is unique and of a pure genius. Whether the screenshots actually make sense or not (sometimes all you get is the see) is irrelevant.
This is just like the photoshopped screenshots (night scenes, fog, newspaper clippings), or the storied screenshots that started a while ago.

Why don't you turn off all news announcements, so we won't get screenshots of subsidies and closing-down industries?

- These white tracks belong to my company, but the game is too laggy for me to play. ;( Restart the game please, it's already 2057.

I have done. Unfortunately, I couldn't do this while the game was running, and if I'd stopped the game your company would have lost its password.White Rabbit wrote:Why don't you turn off all news announcements, so we won't get screenshots of subsidies and closing-down industries?

That irrigation scheme is at sea level. Flooding is a risk, offset by the large number of plantations and farms that can make use of the available water. A dam holds back a huge reservoir, and several water pumps draw water off for transport all across the desert.
The dam is reinforced to eliminate the risk of a breach.

A screenshot of competition over the Standale water supplies. Andel is using the short, 2-tile trains, and the 20-tile trains are mine. I won using brute force. Even in 1925, those Santa Fe's are pulling in over $800,000 a year.
