New Water graphics. How to make it compatible with OpenTTD.

Hi. I have been playing on TTDPatch for a while, but now when I can use TTRS3 in OpenTTD i have made choice to leave playing on TTDPatch and move on with OpenTTD.

But I ve got a problem. I used to play with some nice grf's. Some of them are not working with OpenTTD. When I starting the game it shows me message that my grf has got an invalid format or something.

Now... I want to use New Water graphics in OpenTTD. Is there any way to recompile that grf so it will be compatible with OpanTTD? I was thinking about merge this grf file with trg1r.grf and I think it may work as well.

But I dont know how to do this. Can anyone help me? :D

I will put this grf here so if someone know how to make it useable in OpenTTD I would be very thankful.

This grf has been made using grdtogrf WITHOUT setting the grfid, so its grfid is FFFF and that is not supported by OpenTTD.

Oh right I got it. I have fixed it up. I recompiled it with grfcodec, changed the GRFID to some other, recompiled and its working now :D

Thanks, I wouldnt figure this out alone :wink:

If anyone wants that too (i love this new water :lol: ), i put fixed grf here.

Sorry, but dont make of it big deal. I have only changed grfid so it can work with OpenTTD now. I think its not such a crime :roll:

The Screenshot doesnt show how excellent this new water is. The animation is just amazing.
