Some ideas for new patch

I just want to know if is it possible to create a new town during the play. If it isn't, maybe you could add this to new version of TTDPatch. I imagine it like that: You will build a round road and add some bus stations. After a few years, there will be some buildings and you can give a new name to your town. Or yust buy a new town like a factory. Thanks for reply

That's not possible, and to be honest, I don't see the use of it, but maybe others do.

Hi Master and welcome,

You can load a savegame in the scenario editor and add a town
then save it and you have a new town !

But during the game ? impossible for the moment !

what about doubling window size for windowed mode ?

I use TTWin95 on a 22" screen, in 1600x1200 resolution.
So, when I play in windowed mode, I play on a very small window and it's totaly impossible to play correctly, so I need to switch in 800x600 scren resolution and I have icons big as a tennis ball :/

So, wath about adding a flag in ttdpatch.cfg to set all pixel doubling to have a 1280x960 window ? It may not very hard to do if display management in the game is not too bad. I will not grow game play size, just the window, such as Winamp when we activate "double size".

Why do you play windowed then? I play full screen with 1280*1024 and it is nice to see!

I do, but I use ICQ and other way to discuss with people (forums web site, etc.) so switching from 640x480 to 1600x1200 produce some very bad noises from my screen. It seems it dislike that a lot :/

So Windowed mode is more reliable to do several operation in the same time, and when playing TT, we can stay hours without doing anything, waiting for some income monney... :/

And when you're in there you won't get out of it either.

How can you get that low. You go bankrupt if you're too long below 0.

No, I have not -50000$...

But I start playing in 1925, so I need to wait for 6 month before having the first vehicule in the game, a boat.

Then, I do a very long course accross the map, so I wait for 30 minutes before having any earning.

And then, in most cases I have not enough monney to buy a new ship, so I need to wait for 30 minutes again before having sufficient revenues :)

And staying 1 hour doing circles with the mouse it's not very interresting ;)
