thats funny! It would be cool if info window train is real one too! I mean sprites!

It was a 5 minute rectangular select & paste job. From thinking about it to posting it was 15 minutes, and most of that was spent looking for a photo.

I could have gone looking for a newgrf that lookedmore like the train, or spent time faffing about, trying to make a graphic, but if I did that I might as well go the whole hog and make a newgrf.

Do feel free to make a derrived picture.

No. Here's some criticism to take on board though:

Look for a picture that's more top-down. That's not easy, there don't seem to be many - but it will make your shot look more like a game shot.

Crop carefully. Your railway construction toolbar is missing pixels, and your landscape toolbar has some background along the bottom. Your viewport has some openttd scenery along the bottom and left edges. Your train 1 details is missing its top edge, but has gained some greenery to the left.

I like the scaled viewport, that's a good idea. I might have been tempted to put some other (related) image in there.

2-10-0: I like that. I hope the newspapers someday can all be customized to actually have some purpose.

You know, if TTD is gonna look like that, it got better graphics than TRS, MSTS and TE summed up together. That'd require quite some computer specs.

I don't understand the Russian, but that single member does put posts on Russian TTD sites, where they are published. Out of interest, what's his motivation? Does he claim they're shots from forthcoming releases, or is he just having some fun? Is he regularly slapped down by those in the know? (-:

The only site that I know is his own TTD page where he put his conversions without the original author's permission.

Yes, there has been probably too much flame at TTDRussia openttd forums on that very topic.

OK. Let's just hope other mock-up authors won't be like that
