Leaving (new Job)

Hi guys.

well i have gotten myself a job in my field straight out of uni. so will be available for not long. i can send "All" my files to someone.

i have a number of files to automate the ground generation process. with 89 or something sprites per tile-set. i also made textures for ALL the ground types, and had trees.

i haven't really been around for ages since i have been battling a major assignment at university for my graduation exhibition, but thats all over and the rest of my life (the part with no holidays) is about to begin.

so all the best with the new graphics, and whoever wants to take over my files and groundwork, i am happy to help talk through my stuff with you.

If possible it'd be good if you can send all your files to a few people. That way we reduce the risk of them getting lost somehow. It's a pitty i haven't got the Cataloguing of new graphics system up yet because that would have solved a lot of proplems. In the mean time i'd recommend sending your files to a few modellers and me :D. So i can whack them in the system when it gets done.

i can do that.... my files will contain "everything" so will need organising and understanding by the interested parties before they are usefull. but they should be rather usefull to a lot of people.

Cheers.

You can send them me if you wish, or just keep/make them accsessable on mudpuddle until there moved to the 'new graphic system' when posible.

File is here, will be here for a few days.

Everyone who downloads it please reply to this thread. I will remove the files from my server at some stage in the next few weeks.

I have a few other things to share too, like the logo for OTTD and some other random things.

Enjoy.

And merry christmas.

I'm having trouble extracting the file 'OTTDtrees.blend' in the trees folder. It appears to be corrupt as everything else extracts fine.

:o Never! Goodness, Goodluck with your job, i hope it pans out so you have time to come and chat. I have to say, your work was superb! Now, lets see how much further the others can get, where'd Ben_Robbins go, or dmh_mac?
