You know, this horrible and sci-fi building...

I really saw it, at Tokyo during vacations.
As you can see, it's part of my souvenir photos (you say I play too much TTD ? :D)

Torque is how far you take the wall with you. Spoilers and bodykits are how much of the wall you take with you. Rollcages and windownets are how much of a mess you leave on the wall.

it's so ugly that I bet it won some prize for creative designing or something. Only, I can't help thinking about the size of the rooms in those. It looks like the flats are rather small. Also that design creates a rather large surface, which is bad during the winter. I guess they can get pretty cold inside (or expensive to heat)

Haha, nice. I was just wondering about that building for a week ago since Chris Sawyer said it was based of a real buildng. And it's one of the most oddball looking ones in the game after all.

Probably was in one of thoose arcicture books that the graphics designer used as reference.

Imho, this building is too damn ugly to not be remembered.

edit: And yes, I'm pretty sure there's not much space in every single flat. But those guys are japanese - and sometimes, I have the feeling they just don't want much space.

Actually, that's the whole idea behind that building. To get as much people as possible to live on as little space as possible - hence the fact it's found in Tokyo, a city that has obvious problems finding space for new buildings. :P

So, if there's an earthquake and Tokyo starts sinking into the sea, will each of the little boxes become a self-contained escape pod and rocket the occupants to safety?

How did you learn that secret? It's actually all about Japan secretly planning to melt all the ice in the polar areas and flood all their enemies and they are preparing themselves for survival in such an event, but that's a millitary secret. I presume that you are a spy or something 8)
