no monorail wagons

i've run into a problem with version 0.4.8 with the momorail
i can only build locomotives but no wagons so they can't carry anything
i started this game from an autosave file from an old ttd patch
but with other games i don't have this problem, do you all know a way to get monorail wagons back in this game???
