problem with removing patch

I have put the patch 3new_aiports.patch in my open ttd but there is a bug in the patch and I can't remove the patch

Why? Three new airports was superceded by 6 new airports. From that 6, 4 were selected to be included into the trunk. So the nightly already has all three of the original new airports, plus the helistation.
So adding the three new airports patch is a waste of time - its already in.
