I'm having a small problem with the TTRSv2 Mod when used in the sub-tropical climate.

If I start a sub-tropical game using TTRSv2Mod with a bank in a town, it is the default Bank, which accepts diamonds (Diamond Mine -> Bank). If a Bank is constructed during the course of the game, it is a Temperate TTRS-style Bank (dark glass tower) which both produces and accepts diamonds. This can play merry havoc if it pops up in the catchment area of a station already servicing a default (accept-only) Bank.

Any way around this?

That is an original TTD bug, afaia.

Make sure you don't have miscmods.dontfixtropicbanks on.

Oh heck. I hope this isn't the second time in as many weeks I've pinged Aegir about an issue that's nothing to do with his work. Thing is, my miscmods.dontfixtropicbanks is off. :?:

Hmm... I just tried it and I get temperate banks built in tropic too. :O Must be a patch bug. :)

I split this off since it doesn't have anything to do with Aegir.

Does this problem happen with newindustries off?

Does it happen with banks the player funds, banks the game builds or both?

Yay! Not my problem!

It only happens with banks the game builds, and only with newindustries on.

I'll have to let Csaba investigate this, I had a quick look but didn't see anything wrong.

HaroldV, are you playing with add-on grf for Serbian rail set? If yes, banks are modified: they produce valuables and accept valuables.

No, I've not been using any industry-altering grfs.

Thank you for reporting this; it should be fixed in the next nightly.
