I have this error when using a particular landscape GRF. I've tried everything to try to combat it, but to no avail.
"Failed to find string #0054 at 00637B6B, found 05/04 at 0055148m for oldintrocheckkey in patchgeneralfixes"

Bugged newspaper in nightly r967, see screenshot. Also attached ttdpatch.cfg, and newgrfw.cfg.

There's an *exellent* chance that a copy of the grf will be required to reproduce/debug this.

You should know that.

Either 1) reduce the height, 2) change to full-screen, or 3) set your taskbar to auto-hide.

3) wont work, so I geuse i have to change my height. Is that the ingame height. Im already using auto hide on my taskbar.

Just thought you all should see this; TTDPatch Nightly running on an Intel based Macbook Pro. No hardware emulation at all, just Darwine, a Mac port of the Wine windows compatibility layer.

It's not really DOS that is causing problems, but me forgetting to test it on anything but english... I'll try to fix it asap...

Like I've said on IRC, the actual generator is from Transport Empire, or thats my understanding of it.
Josef has been fixing it to work with TTDpatch, and it's bugs.

And I've been playing with the parameters of the function to generate these results. :)

Well, I've commited my first version of trying to generate landscape based off the values in the difficaulty settings.

Currently the following is true.
1. Land height increases with 3 height levels per terrain type e.g.. 'very flat'
3. Water is scaled according to land height unless set to 'low'
4. Water will never flood the whole map, there will always be 2 levels of land minimum.
5. The terrain roughness increases with terrain type

Currently, it tries to keep some water on the map.

I've attached some screenshots created by the default settings.
I hope this works ok for people, please enjoy, and feel free to comment on my attempt. (Or fix it if you are a dev).

[edit] Oh and try it with high water, and mountainous settings.
