incinerator power plant

Post by redknight4 »

Here is a new industry I just made
It is the incinerator power plant
It accepts mail, goods, and food

It’s great if you need to get rid of these things when your towns won't accept them.

If it doesn’t this is how I created the dat file with locotool

loco tool incps.dat incps.xml

The industry uses the coal power plant as its base component

I can always post the source and any one can post a working dat file for this industry

it is un tested at this time.

Incenerator for mail? Well, that would actually explain a lot for the US Post Office, but anyway, it does seem like a good idea on the surface.

Tell me, going a little deeper, as I'm not too familair with modding LoMo, can new cargos be added without editing the .exe, which, yes, I know is illegal? If towns could output garbage, this thing would have some real use. (Or maybe goods could be a proxy for garabge or something?)

Cargo's are controlled by .dats and as such you can create new ones.

although now that i think about it, it'd look A LOT like the steel mill, but still, i think others should try, especially those that have ease with creating new trains, same pallet, same proccess, just diff coding

the coding is a BIG difference.. and you need only 4 sprites per level :D
i did all models/renderings/textures myself. no conversions.

seelenquell.pytalhost.com has been reactivated from 16/07/28 till 18/05/31.. now it´s deactivated. at least there..

the coding is what makes it diff, but i'm talking about gfx, the only true diff is that the gfx r larger, and there's less per element

yeah PLUS you can build buildings level over level.. you can have for each level another sprite. OR you can model your building as a whole.

I personally wish that someone would make it a nuclear power plant (requiring uranium and producing waste, just like in Railroad Tycoon).
