This has been in a branch for quite a while so it isn't really new for me, but still nice to see it in the trunk though

Has anyone noticed that you can build level crossings perfectly fine under bridges, but you can't build bridges over level crossings?

I bet he didn't. Because you have to enlarge the changelog and WHO (instead of us two) does that?

I do, naturally. In fact, the rules on my nightly server page were modified as a direct result of the changelog.

me does it too... i read always the changelog to see if introduces an important bugfixing or a new feature (and then dl it, otherwise if is only a language update i can wait for another day to dl it)

Am i right assuming that it is not possible to build a bridge over the middle of another one, no matter how high above the other one you're trying to build it?
i just tried building over a wooden bridge and it doesn't seem to allow me to do that. but... otherwise it looks very cool
(and i love those signals under the bridges...)

In answer to both of your posts, yes, it's impossible to bridge a bridge. Celestar isn't happy with that bit just yet - a sprites issue, I'm led to believe, which is well in hand.

I never used nightlies, (only for experimenting purposes, but I got a system format a few weeks ago so I wasn't able to keep track.)
Anyway, now all we need are bendable bridges and the bridges in OTTD are as nice as in Locomotion. (plus better gameplay

)

Thanks for the answer. As for the double post, i noticed a spelling error in the first one, halted the process, verified the thread to see it wasn't actually posted already and then posted a corrected version. Seems like the cache played a trick on me though.
Now. The edit button says: edit/remove your post. but how to delete it because i can't find a button for that. neither does it allow me to remove all text in the post...

Wow, same as PBS? Why was this wonderful feature ripped out again?

Because it has bugs, but more importantly it was added without the permission of the author AFAIK; who then (rightly) pulled it.

Hm, OK. That seems to be logical.
