Currently trying to make new signals, i am working on dutch ones, (Also the one who is been used on the RandstadRail track. (And maybe special for some signalles metro`s a box on the ground instead of colorlights. Because here in Rotterdam they got Cabsignaling.)

WIP is based upon this one:

Hmm nice, finally some new signals. I have also tried making some signals myself some time ago. But i failed on doing it becouse i couldn't get it sorted out with the xml, also my graphics looked bad.

I would love to see it finished, and be able to use them with the nl packs.

Are you also going to do the one with a nummeric box unther neeth them?

Forgive me for getting involved here, I don't got locomotion but was just browsing :D.

The lights you see at the top are mostly condensed into Large LEDs in this day and age... that's a very old signal xD.

Sorry for coming and going straight back out :P.

Much Love.

Hi I.A., that signal in your first post might be a little confusing for non Dutch members.
The white cross over the lights, means that this signal isn't working yet and has to be removed after it's release.
The normal colours are from top to bottom.
yellow,green and red.
The single white light with the V isn't for the driver, but gives permission to the conductor to close the doors.
The engineer gets permission to leave the station if the next 3 things are true.
1. signal not red.
2. time to go.
3. green lamp in cabine, that all doors are closed.

Hi there...Some signal that.

It is basically a 4-Aspect signal with "feathers" (Junction Indicators) for 2 diverging routes. (You can also see the subsidary aspect lenses to the side, which allow the driver of a train stopped at the signal to see the indication.)

There appears to be something small below the head, looks like a minature Banner Repeater (Repeating the aspect of a hidden signal).

Then there is a Banner Repeater for a "Distant" indication. ("Caution"/"proceed").

Below this is a square shape that appears to be some sort of shunt signal...

The Disk below this with a "W" on it appears to be a repeater for a "Warning" subsidary signal. (If I remember correctly, used to give the driver a Warning that the section ahead is clear ONLY to the Stop (Home) signal, and that the clearing point of that signal may be obstructed.)

Finally comes a banner repeater for a "Stop" signal.

Interestingly the signal numbers appear to start "LT", so this suggests somewhere like "Lowestoft", perhaps?

Yes now a days that becomes the standard.
We also had the versions with one light in the signal. in the neighborhood of 's Hertogenbosch.
They had colored filters that changed.

IA, you might want to take a look at my signal graphics for TT.

Anyways, will you be making semaphores too?

Semaphores are already in the game, i will take a look at the TT signals, but i think it wont be usefull because of the bit more complicated and detailed level of Locomotion vs TT :)

Don't forget the rear of the signals is partially white;

Hmm, i think i quit; i cant get it in a proper scale or look. Stupid signals :X

Well, than just draw them out of scale, TT does that too...
