what do you intend to do? make a scenario with all the railroads?
also I think you mean the size should be 256x512 (as 165x528 is impossible)

Could you reiterate your first sentance, i didnt quite understand what you mean.
Also, the document stated 265x528, not 165, and i am aware of my typo in that respect.

and I made a typo telling about a typo
anyway the first questions is like: do you intend to make a scenario where you place all the real life underground lines and stations in London?
I wonder how far into the future we will get turning tunnels and underground stations. It will still take a while, but a project like this (if I understand it's purpose right) will really scream for such features.
Also just for the fun of it, how about making a grf with all the tube trains ever built, even the old ones? I think I would actually use the steam ones

(and not care that it was a 19th century thing, which mean they were gone by the time OTTD starts)

While I don't like to pour cold water on new projects, I have to admit I find it hard to see how you'll do this project without (at the very least) the new map being implemented first...
95% of all the important interchange stations on the Underground are... er... underground - and the Bakerloo line's terminus is underground (at Elephant & Castle).
The Waterloo & City line is underground from end to end.
And without passenger destinations (so that passengers change trains) I'm unconvinced the lines will make much sense in terms of playing the game.

@ Barnji
Yes, we intend to place real life stations and lines that are on the London Underground into the game, the layout of it will be based on the standard london underground map.
Yes, this project really does need the new map arrays for it to be 'brilliant' but we shall just have to wait, sadly.
A grf of all the tube trains ever built would be brilliant, we'd need graphic artists and coders for that. i am, sadly, inexperienced in both.
@ jungle
Yes, we are aware that some stations are underground and really do need the new map array first, but think simply, how do you put a station, beneath ground level that can 'imitate' a underground station, Simple, stations that are visible but built below ground level. When cities built skycrapers anyway the stations are hidden.

of all the things people have called me, I don't think I have ever been that close to Jumanji before (or barn or whatever you were thinking of)

do any of you consider that the current configuration of OTTD does not allow scenarios with railways and trains in them?

by gkirilov
You can easily make it a save game .... although some cheats must be used (build while paused or year cheat ... at least).

We do know that you can't build the layout in the scenario, we aint stupid.

If you allow me one tiny remark:
Change the name of the project. This one doesn't sound good.
