You will need to extract the xml of a sound in your Objdata using locotool

e.g SNDD2

Then open up the xml file using wordpad, and in the line

Code: Select all

<object class="0x81" subclass="0x11827D" name="SNDD2 "><chunk compression="1">
Change the name SNDD2 to whatever you want to call it, remembering to keep it to 8 figures otherwise it won't work, e.g

Code: Select all

<object class="0x81" subclass="0x11827D" name="SNDD9999"><chunk compression="1">
Then copy your sound file into your objdata folder, and go to the line in your xml

Code: Select all

	<wavfile size="8">C:\Program Files\Atari\Locomotion\ObjData\SNDD2.wav</wavfile>
and change SNDD2.wav to whatever your sound file is called, e.g

Code: Select all

	<wavfile size="8">C:\Program Files\Atari\Locomotion\ObjData\SNDD9999.wav</wavfile>
Then go to File>SaveAs and save the file as the .dat name, making sure 8 figures eg SNDD9999.xml , making sure you put in the .xml so wordpad saves it as an xml file.

Then last step as far as i know, drag the xml into Locotool and it will create a .dat file for you to use.

I haven't actually done this but that looks like what you need to do.
