If nubmer of vehicles was possible to increase, could the same thing be done with the stations? And what about money, does it have to be limited?

About 1. Sugsession
www.ttdpatch.net wrote:More stations or more depots. Both stations and depots have an ID value that is stored in a single byte in memory. Because of this, the IDs can only go up to 255, allowing at most 256 stations or depots. For stations, a couple of the ID values have special meanings, so that only 250 stations are possible. However, because they are stored in a byte, it is not possible to have more stations or depots than 255. It is all but impossible to change the ID to use a word value, which would be required to do that.
2. Money limited? What to you mean by that?

I didn't mean to do that, i accidently posted question into open ttd, not knowind it's not the same thing.
As far as money is concierned, 4.2 billion is maximum, and that's not enough if a very long tunnel is 800 mil. x 2 or 3 tunnels, then coal or research aroun 300 mil. and so on.

Explain why you are wanting to build five $800M tunnels (or even just one of them), and maybe we'll think about increasing the money limit.

I don't know what's other people's phylosophy is, but mine is to have as direct line as possible, and when forrest is on one side of the map and sawmill on the other, you must have let's say 3-5 cities in between, at least. So the best way for me is to go underground

And i mentioned also that i need money for research on new sources of coal, oil etc...

What about signals and so on? And how long does the train need to be to be profitable?
If you're having a problem with money, just turn inflation off.

Problem for me is not the inflation. I generate 1 bil a year, but with excessive funding for oil, coal research + plus some tunnels i can get into some money problems, and i have to wait for a year or two to continue. I think it's not fair for all those billions wasted when i don't have do a lot of building and researching

But if you don't use inflation, it takes a lot longer to reach the 4 bil (or whatever it is) limit.
