Rail graphic question

I have a question: Is it possible to code somehow rails, that I am trying to make? In the 3rd post you will see a screen, so you will exactly know, what I am thinking about. Later are some more screens. Coders from our forum are not sure, if this is possible.

That could be possible if you replace the overhead wires with those. If you just change the rail sprite the trains will drive over the tubes. Nice idea btw

very good idea :
but looks futuristic. I think it would be better to do this with the Maglevs or Monorails.

We want to make rails for metro/underground. Because TTD doesne support good tunnels, we do something like between the station "Černý Most" and "Rajská Zahrada". It is here, in Prague. It is a bridge and tunnel in one. You dont see the train, but you see the bridge. We use the tobular bridge with company color, so it will be possible to see the train, so the graphic will be seen + the train will be in a "tunnel".
